Our wedding at Lough Rynn Castle was nothing short of exceptional. After viewing numerous venues, Lough Rynn immediately stood out for its charm, elegance, and unique character. From the very first meeting, Lynette welcomed us with warmth and calm reassurance. Her support and attention to detail made the entire planning process completely stress-free.
As we were organising everything from the UK, we had concerns about logistics, but Lynette’s excellent communication and flexibility made everything seamless. Her knowledge and experience were invaluable — from guiding us through the order of the day to recommending outstanding vendors. She also went above and beyond with thoughtful touches, such as helping us customise table stationery to match our wedding theme, which meant so much to us.
The venue itself is breathtaking. The elegant reception area, stunning grounds, and beautifully refurbished ballroom created the perfect setting for our celebration. Many of our guests travelling from the UK and Jersey were blown away by the surroundings.
The dinner service was a real highlight. Guests were so impressed by the impeccable timing, the quality of the food, and the flawless wine service, glasses were never left empty!
With many guests travelling, accommodation was important. The castle’s luxurious rooms perfectly balanced historical charm and modern comfort, while the on-site cottages provided a warm, home-like space, particularly appreciated by the groom’s family.
We also stayed a second night, hosting our Day Two celebrations at the nearby Copperstill Bar. Once again, everything ran smoothly, thanks to Lynette’s thoughtful recommendation of a fantastic local bus company to transport our guests. We finished the night with a great time in the residents’ bar, and staying in the bridal suite both nights was a treat, as was the delicious breakfast each morning.
We are incredibly grateful to Lynette and the entire Lough Rynn team for making our wedding weekend so special. It was everything we hoped for and more – a truly unforgettable experience.
I cannot say a big enough thank you to Lough Rynn! I just had my wedding here on June 7, 2024 and to say it was the best day of our lives is an understatement! Thanks to Aisling, Andrew, Tighe, and all of the staff, our day went perfectly and our guests had nothing but compliments about the service and delicious food! Aisling made the wedding planning as stress free as possible and was always there to lend a hand. The service was nothing but top class! The beautiful grounds at Lough Rynn were a great addition to our day as we were able to take all of our photos right there. We will definitely be back in our future!
It’s been one month since we had the wedding of our dreams at Lough Rynn Castle. The day surpassed all expectations. The staff at Lough Rynn Castle from the restaurant manager Hugo ensuring we had the most amazing experience at our menu tasting talking us through all of our chosen dishes to taste in detail, Aoife and the other staff on reservations making it so easy for our guests to book and make any changes, the fantastic staff on the day who throughout the whole day were so friendly and professional, and last but certainly not least our fantastic wedding coordinator Lynette who could not possibly be better at her job. Lynette was one step ahead with anything we needed on the day. And she made sure we had no worries on the lead up to the day due to how organised and responsive she was. We knew we could completely put our trust in Lynette to make sure everything went completely to plan on our day and it did. For anyone considering Lough Rynn Castle as their wedding venue we couldn’t recommend it enough. Lough Rynn were so easy to deal with, and really cared about ensuring we had an unforgettable wedding day. The food on the day was absolutely amazing and so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was. We were lucky that we had a lovely sunny November day and our professional photographs outside the castle and couple shots in the walled gardens turned out so well. Lough Rynn really has it all in terms of a stunning venue and amazing grounds for photographs and for guests to enjoy walking around the next day. The view out to the lake from the drinks reception room is absolutely stunning and gives the nicest setting. We can’t thank Lynette and everyone at Lough Rynn enough for everything they did for us. It was the best day of our lives! We can’t wait to return soon.
We had been to lots of weddings at the beautiful Lough Rynn Castle.. so we had no doubt about the venue itself or the quality of the food. Having said this, it exceeded all our expectations. The attention to detail is superb and our wedding co-ordinator, Lynette couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend Lough Rynn, we really did have the best day of our lives!
Lough Rynn Castle now holds a very special place in our lives. As we checked out of the hotel we noted that it had felt like home for our wedding weekend.
There is not enough room in this review to express how incredible all the staff at Lough Rynn are, but all we can say is it was 5 star service, from the day we went to view the venue to the day we checked out.
A special mention to our wedding Coordinators, Ruth who first showed us the magic of Lough Rynn, Shannon who helped us on the road to visualising our big day and finally Lynnette, so incredibly professional and has a wealth of experience when it comes to planning your dream wedding. We had so much fun working with the staff of Lough Rynn to create our big day and we couldn’t count the amount of guests who commented on how great the staff and the venue were.
To top it all off we got married at Christmas and the venue has that extra magic about it with the fires lit and all the wonderful Christmas decorations.
There was no ask too big for the hotel and we are already looking forward to returning for our wedding anniversary. We couldn’t recommend this venue enough.
We had the most wonderful wedding day! From start to finish it was just perfect. All our guests couldn’t speak highly enough of the food and service. Every staff member was impeccable, in particular the gentleman orchestrating the wait staff in the ballroom and Martin who drove our buggy for pictures. Our wedding coordinator Aisling couldn’t have made the whole wedding process and day any better. She was helpful with any questions or queries we had leading up to it and made sure our day went seamlessly. It was a magical and unforgettable day!
We got married in Lough Rynn Castle on 4th June 2023. From start to finish the day was absolutely perfect. We had our ceremony there also and as we do not live near we stayed in the houses on the grounds the night before which was also so special. We had a lovely breakfast brought over the morning of. We also had the day 2 celebrations there with a bbq which was also amazing. Sinead was our wedding coordinator and was honestly such a pleasure to deal with, she was so helpful, professional and friendly. Our friends and family all loved the venue and are still talking about how special it was. I’d highly recommend lough rynn as a wedding venue, and if you can, have the ceremony outside it was amazing. We rented the floors from Ashgrove.
