Our wedding at Lough Rynn Castle was nothing short of exceptional. After viewing numerous venues, Lough Rynn immediately stood out for its charm, elegance, and unique character. From the very first meeting, Lynette welcomed us with warmth and calm reassurance. Her support and attention to detail made the entire planning process completely stress-free.
As we were organising everything from the UK, we had concerns about logistics, but Lynette’s excellent communication and flexibility made everything seamless. Her knowledge and experience were invaluable — from guiding us through the order of the day to recommending outstanding vendors. She also went above and beyond with thoughtful touches, such as helping us customise table stationery to match our wedding theme, which meant so much to us.
The venue itself is breathtaking. The elegant reception area, stunning grounds, and beautifully refurbished ballroom created the perfect setting for our celebration. Many of our guests travelling from the UK and Jersey were blown away by the surroundings.
The dinner service was a real highlight. Guests were so impressed by the impeccable timing, the quality of the food, and the flawless wine service, glasses were never left empty!
With many guests travelling, accommodation was important. The castle’s luxurious rooms perfectly balanced historical charm and modern comfort, while the on-site cottages provided a warm, home-like space, particularly appreciated by the groom’s family.
We also stayed a second night, hosting our Day Two celebrations at the nearby Copperstill Bar. Once again, everything ran smoothly, thanks to Lynette’s thoughtful recommendation of a fantastic local bus company to transport our guests. We finished the night with a great time in the residents’ bar, and staying in the bridal suite both nights was a treat, as was the delicious breakfast each morning.
We are incredibly grateful to Lynette and the entire Lough Rynn team for making our wedding weekend so special. It was everything we hoped for and more – a truly unforgettable experience.
We are absolutely delighted that we chose Lough Rynn Castle as our wedding venue. From the moment we met Aisling, we knew we were in safe hands — she was an absolute pleasure to deal with and incredibly helpful throughout the process. Our meal was lovely, and Andrew made sure everything ran like clockwork on the day. We were especially delighted that the weather was kind to us so we could get our photographs taken on the beautiful grounds. There are no words to describe our wedding day at Lough Rynn Castle. From the first moment we walked in, we knew it was going to be the venue for us. What made it even more special was how easy everything was, especially with all the help from Aisling. Nothing was too much to ask, emails were responded to straightaway which made the planning process all that bit easier. Our wedding day was out of this world. We had been to a number of weddings in Lough Rynn prior to our own so were aware of their quality service and high standards so had high expectations from the start. Leading up to our wedding we both felt in very good hands, our wedding co-ordinator proactively checked in with us and was incredibly quick to respond to any of our queries or questions. The day itself went so smooth, we have had a number of guests tell us how impressed they were with the staff and how accommodating they were to any guests needs which was brilliant. We got married in Lough Rynn in April 2025. From the time we booked our wedding, we were both so impressed with the level of professionalism, attention to detail and flexibility that Lynette and the wider Lough Rynn team showed. Everything on our wedding day went very smoothly and so many guests commented on the quality of food, the excellent table service and the nice atmosphere they experienced in the hotel. We both had a fantastic wedding day and will always have great memories of this special day in Lough Rynn. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than Lough Rynn. From the very first time we met the team, Aisling, our wedding planner, made everything feel so easy and stress-free. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and support throughout the entire process gave us complete confidence that our day was in safe hands. The whole experience from start to finish was incredible. The wedding tasting was such a fun and memorable day, and it really added to the excitement leading up to the wedding. On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly. The food was absolutely incredible, and so many of our guests commented on how amazing every course was. The staff were attentive, friendly, and couldn’t do enough for us or our guests throughout the day. The grounds are second to none and provide the most stunning backdrop for photographs. Every corner of the estate is beautiful, making it a truly special setting for a wedding. The Dungeon Bar is also a must. It was the perfect place to continue the celebrations after the main reception and created such a fun atmosphere for our guests. I genuinely can’t speak highly enough about Lough Rynn. We couldn’t recommend Lough Rynn Castle as a wedding venue more. Not only us but all of our guests commented on how good it was and how good all the staff were. The service was excellent and everyone was so professional, helpful and polite. Aisling our wedding coordinator was so good to deal with and no request was an issue and she was totally flexible to help us with anything we wanted. The meal was amazing and everyone loved it. The venue itself is so stunning and having the walled gardens for photos is an added bonus. Thanks for making our day so special!
