  • By Train: Irish Rail provides frequent services from Dromod Station, located just 5–10 minutes from the castle, to Dublin Connolly Station. The train journey takes approximately 2 hours, and from Connolly, Croke Park is just a 15-minute walk.

“We arrived at 12 pm and our room was ready. It was in the main building, large and well appointed with everything we needed. It had a large, comfortable bed that we needed for our first night after the overnight flight from the USA including a great shower in the large bathroom. After settling in the room we explored the spacious grounds and walled garden. Everything was just beautiful including the wooded areas and paths by the lake. The inside was just as gorgeous as we went room to room exploring and learning more about the castle’s history. We kept ending up back in the bar and were well taken care of by the friendly bartender and his staff. We even ordered dinner from the bar and ate in a beautiful large room with a view of the grounds and lake. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We met lots of friendly people who were relaxing and having a good time. This was a great experience and very reasonably priced”
